my roomy is lookin for a new board...she's about 120/125

she's ridden the belmot 131 and so far that is her fav, but it's a tad heavy compared to what else is out there. she's open to trying different types of boards (agressive, forgiving, etc etc)...

what are you ladies riding? (for that weight range)...will a 128 vs. 131 vs. 135 make a huge difference?

My favorite board is the LF Trip - the board is light, fast, has great hold and pop, but it's also easy to control. It is a great board for learning all sorts of tricks. Her best bet would be the 133.5 - for 80-170 lb riders.

If she is looking for something a little softer, more female-oriented, try the Sirena series from Double Up.

I'm in that weight range and I absolutely love my board. I have an Obrien Flux. It's really nice. It's a lightwieght board and it's forgiving and carves really well. It handles waves from other boats like no other. I hope this helps. I would definelely recommend this board for your roomie! Very Happy
