|
|
I messed up my knee about a month ago while I was riding. My doctor told me that it would be really smart to wear a knee brace when I ride.
Does anyone have any suggestions on which one to buy (don't want to spend too much money) _________________ -Steve

| You get what you pay for.....If you have insurance ( assuming that they will cover it) ask your MD for a prescription to have a custom Brace done. |

I got one and I recommend to get a kneebrace, even if your knees are still intact. It is the best preventative tool out there. I had to get one becuase I messed up my knee last summer. But I can definately tell it makes a world of difference. I got it for my leading leg. It is definately work it.
I have the Breg's X2K High Performance Knee Brace:

I was thinking that i didn't have to ask my doctor because I figured that someone on here would have an opinion or own a brace that they bought that they ride with. _________________ -Steve

| I would recommend a CTI2 kneebrace if you have insurance. |

Neoprene sleeves with metal bracing are just for peace of mind and keeping the joint warm.
They have absolutely no function in keeping the knee stabilized.
If you're truly looking for stabilization they do make off the shelf acl braces as well as custom.
Again, you are better off speaking with your Orthopediac Surgeon |

I use EVS RS6 Knee Brace For both Motocross and Wakeboarding at the price of $185.00 ea it is worth the cost. They are about two year old and still look new. _________________ Most People Would Sooner Die than think, in fact the do. |
