Best version of Tony Hawk??

Number 2 was the most enjoyable I think. It had great advances without screwing it up.

I did spend hours playing horse on number 1 at the campus though!

4 is ok, but its got no lastability after you finish it.

I dunno, I really like 3 & 4 just 'cuz of the added freestyle moves. However, I tend to agree that 2 was the best as far as replay value.

But I wonder if it's 'cuz the Tony Hawk series was still so new. I mean, now we've come to expect that they're gonna be sick games so maybe we aren't as easily impressed. Can you imagine if Hawk 2 had had all the same stuff as Hawk 4 when it came out? We'd still be screaming about it.

I dunno, In TH1 it was pretty tough to link tricks and didn't allow for really crazy combos.

in TH2 with the manual you could link way more tricks but in TH3 with the revert added just made it too easy. I did like the speed of 3 though, 4 is too slow.

I think 4 has too many lines, it's like everything is linked together. I also think the opposite, I think it's too fast. My vote is for 2 all the way.

u all over looked one. Tony hawk 2x for the xbox which is really good case its litterlly tony hawk one and two combined with extras added the only downside is that its kinda slow but u get used to it

thps2 was such a good game, you can get bored of it, but then you chose a new rider or have a break for like a month. then its just as good again

I have played a ton of 2, me and my friend beat that game in every way possible. Every gap, every character, every dollar. It took quite a while

Actually its the only game i really play, but all that will change when 'wake unleashed' comes out. even though its a gay name.

I have 100% on 1, 2, and 3, and I'm in the process of doing the same for 4, although homework is getting in the way. I'm just addicted to the game.

Tony hawk 4 is probably better when it comes to career mode, but 3 has better videos. I would probably have to say 3 is the best because you can replay it as many times as you want with different characters.

one is the best in the case of hardness. however no manual sucks. didn't play two that much. 3 is probably my favorite (one in a close second). i played four some but found the levels to be too cluttered.

You think 1 is the hardest? Really? Have you tried finishing 4 without the cheats? Damn hard....

I can finish 1 in 1 sitting.

crimanally- yes i've played two and it does kick ass but i never owned it so i didn't ever like it as much as 1 or 3. as far as one being the hardest i'm not refering to carrer mode. what i mean is just normal level play. to keep you combo going you have to have lots of speed plus there isn't a little grind balancer meter. i found in the later games(2 3 and 4) i didn't even watch the screen i just watched the balance meter and as long as i was good there i'd be good. also each player had specific specials you couldn't just pick the ones you wanted. this ment you had to learn how to utilize the tricks (instead of just picking 9 different special grinds) a score of 1 million in thps1 is way more legit than like 7 million in the others.

Yeah, i have 2x. Its really cool cuz of the added levels that you can unlock. I havent played 3 or 4, but they look like they try to change the game waayyy too much.

I only played 3+4 but i think 4 was my fav i got pretty high and i didnt use cheats which im proud of, i didnt use them is cause i couldnt get thenm 2 work, i think it was because i was playing thr ps1 version on the ps2, not sure though.

have you guys heard of the new tonyhawk thats coming out its called "underground" and i guess it doesn't have any pros and you are your self and you have to work your way up the later to be a pro it sounds like what they tried to do with 4 but it didn't quite work it sounds kinda cheezy.
