do you tihnk it is worth it to start up skating agian. i am all wakeboarder i go to the lake at least 2 or 3 times a weeks at the least. i want to start skating agian to help out when im not on the water but i know from freinds and a long time ago when i used to skate it is hard and you can get hurt pretty bad pretty easy. so should go for it 100% or not.

I find that with regards to skateboarding you don't get hurt real bad unless you're going for something big, which I doubt you'll be doing any time soon. If you're picking skating back up then more than likely you'll be working your flatland tricks again & maybe some small grind rails or curbs.

When you start getting good & trying to kickflip a 15 or do hurricanes down a 10, that's when you can get REALLY hurt. If you're not doing stuff like that you probably won't get hurt super bad.

Just go skate. The way I see it is I've gotten more serious injuries wakeboarding than skating.
Just learn to live with welts on your shins and hips.

Yeah, definitely. I'm only learning and last season i could barely heelside jump. I took up skating in the off season and it helped so much. In only about three weeks into this season, I'm pulling off grabs, 180s and butterslides. So yeah, go out and skate.

All i have to say is you can do both. When u cant get out on the lake then skateboard. It can also help u with wakeboarding like balance n' stuff like that.
