boat looks good without the graphics Dragon.

I can still see a stain on the gel from where scott was getting his hump on, though.

Blindside_137, They are metcraft lights and completely crap. I will never buy another option by metcraft ever again. Every one of them fogged up within the first year, and the mounting system does not really securely mount them to the tower. I might replace them somewhere down the line. But, I really only use them for docking so they don't get much use.

The cover on the other hand is a Cover Craft (AKA Evolution.) and it is awesome, I would highly recommend them and Corey is awesome to work with. As I understand it Corey used to work for Rankin and then split do do Cover Crafts/Evolution. We had a Rankin on the 05 SAN and it too was awesome, but I've heard of some issues with Rankin not fitting as well as they should.

hmm sorry to hear that. I'm thinking about maybe gettin some type of tower light for next year because for those nights when we're out late and forgot to turn on lights down on the boat house it's pretty tricky trying to pull into the slip..

we picked up an evolution cover a couple months ago and it is amazing. I thought it looked like ours. I too heard about the rankin issues over on themalibucrew so evolution it was, we couldn't be happier with it. very easy to put on and off plus it looks great on the boat too Very Happy

DRAGON88, They are crap. Mine had the chrome cracking off within the first year. I might have used them twice in a real situation anyway..

Dragon, that first pick would look so much better if the boat was in the water and does that huge swim platform get in the way when you surf?

I know it has been some days since someone has talked on this thread but your boat is sweet. The pictures are phenomenal. As I have started looking at more Malibu's lately I like the distance between the top of bow to the water. On my 2011 Axis when loaded, the bow always tries to stuff itself. You boat looks like it would drive a perfect double up.

I'd love to have another one- but my girlfriend doesn't think we can afford it. Maybe we can adopt a demo '14 VLX from Boardstop? Very Happy
