Wakebrad, did you ever have a much shorter username? live out in cali for a while, or maybe out in the sticks somewhere?

muck is alive - i just reached out to him on facebook to check in and see what he's up to.

JV? He's a little younger than me. Took a job in San Diego out of college.

jt09, yeah he isn't much of a redass anyhow, but he's one of the few I know of from Aggie that lived out here. JV could be, but also, don't recall him being much of a redass.

And yeah, muck is doing just fine. He lives in South OC now and I don't think he's ever moving back to Chicago.

Nope, I've been Wakebrad out of Dallas since '03. I think you're talking about JV or Bowen who was.. Agfan I believe originally. Went to college in CA and moved to Dallas. JV was from Cali but went to A&M.

I'm still a big fan, watch all the games, go to a few per year, wear my ring most days. But when it comes to football, there was a moment a few years back things changed for me. It was 2am on a Sunday night after both the Aggies and the Cowboys lost that weekend, and I'm lying awake unable to sleep thinking "what are we going to do?" There's no hope in sight for either of these teams. I'm wrestling with all of the faith and energy I put into football every weekend when it dawned on me. I literally have no control over how these teams do in football. zero. Why am I losing sleep over it? From that moment I take the good, enjoy the wins, leave the bad. I don't engage much in the football discussion over here but the dumpster fire at texas, ou, and the Big 12 in general can't help but put a smile on your face. Twisted Evil

Some of you guys make me feel so young. I'm 43 and ride every week, year round. Would ride every day if I had the chance. For those with bad knees: there's something fun that you can do instead of wakesurfing: grab a hydrofoil/air chair/sky ski! Most fun on the water I've had in many years when learning that. Gonna have to find a nice used one now (anyone happen to have or know of one..?!)

checking in. it's good to see some old faces (names) again. i've been a skier more than a wakeboarder since college. i still get up with the dads most weekend mornings during the summer for 7 am ski club. my freedom to do that may change this summer though...

WakeBrad now that my kid is at A&M I also started to fall into the trap of the college games. I decided I cannot have this type of stress in my life so I am happy when they win. Now if I could just do the same thing with UK basketball!

Is he still in Nashville? I was in Chattanooga last week looking at a couple of merger candidates and wondered if you were still there.

I got the boat all ready to go out tomorrow after being gone all week and my damn kids decided they would rather go spend the night with their friends. At their age all I wanted to do was get on the water. Times have changed.

wb.com lives! I miss the old days...didn't realize how good we had it in that 99-06 peak. I get to ride ~2 weeks a year now. Probably in the best shape of my life and my surgically repaired knee is doing well, but it's hard to progress with that little time on the water. Still working toward my goal of landing a 7.

Don't move to NYC kids.

this.

haven't wakeboarded once since I moved here 6 years ago. Although I am going to my bosses lake house next week though....

All of my history as craig-r (and david as david-d) was wiped out when we were temporarily banned so that sucks, but I sure do miss those golden years.

I'm wakeboarding this weekend.... will be the first time out this year.

Life has been busy, and really I'm more of a kiteboarder these days.

Going to a lakehouse this weekend and did not even line a wakeboard boat. I just did not want the headache of dealing with it. I'm getting old! Now if someone drove up to the house on LBJ and offered up a surf set....I'd take it.
