I like to gamble with my etrade account. I normally like to buy something and sit on it just a few weeks or a month. Last one I made a few bucks on was pure storage.

I bought CHK at one point. Rode it all the way down. When the owner ran his SUV into a guardrail it came back up and I got out with a profit. Craziest thing I have ever seen in a stock. He dies in a car wreck the day after being indicted. I don't think they ever classified it as a suicide.

Haven't bought anything in a while. Probably going to sell soon. Buy low sell high and we are definitely high right now.

Aubrey was forced out of Chesapeake almost 3 years before he died.

Here's a short biography if you'd like to know more.

TransCanada Pipelines.

With "The Donald" running the show, there's a pretty good chance keystone might go ahead now. The stock popped about 4-5 bucks after the election. If the pipe goes you'll see a 75 buck price in a year or so I would think.

I've been looking at some energy stocks but haven't seen anything too exciting. Canadian bank stocks have done well for me, but I'm still nervously wondering when the bottom of our housing market decides to drop out.

Any buy into Nvidia last year? Shocked

No kidding, eh? I grabbed some early and dumped it the next day luckily. SNAP scares me for a number of reasons as a business, but I wouldn't be surprised if Facebook does exactly what they're doing.

I have a feeling SNAP is going to be the new broadcast.com. Those guys cashed in at the right time. Still showing huge growth numbers, adding in some revenue and putting hints out there at new future tech to get a picture for future growth. Facebook, Apple, Google are already encroaching on the concept and the "stories" are increasingly just pictures of girls taking selfies on repeat. That's not monetize-able content.

I've never shorted a stock before, but I was very tempted to learn how w/ SNAP.

I got out of BP at 37.90 and I'm looking for a re-entry when it drops under 32. In the meantime, my AMD has had a decent run, but there is a lot of short pressure, not sure if I want to be in or out before the release of their next chip.
