spent the last two weeks in the United Arab Emirates for work.
Very interesting country.
Had cocktails with Rudy Giuliani at the base of the Burj Khalifa.

How hot and humid was it? I stopped there on my way back to the US from South Africa in September. Good god was it hot and sticky, even at 10pm at night.
The Burj is strange looking from the plane. All these normal buildings and then this super tall structure.

It was cool and comfortable, and it rained two times. Very unexpected. The locals said it was cooler than usual this winter. One morning they had very thick fog, visibility at less than 30 yards.
