So after 8 long months of rehabbing my knee I'm finally back out on the water. Since I'm still not 100% I'm keeping off the kickers and figured this would be a good time to learn air tricks. So I hucked a few at the park a few days ago. I think I'm close but needed some input, because the falls are brutal. My buddy once told me " you don't learn the air raley, you earn the air raley" and I now understand what he means. Sorry for the crappy video quality, when I zoomed in it got pixelated

Yeah, you're close; nice!
I'm not much of a cable rider myself, but I think a shorter and more aggressive lean would help. At least to learn it, then later take this longer approach again. Give it a shot!
Good luck! _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica
I'll try and shorter approach next time I'm out and see if that helps, thanks. I can't take much more of committing then catching the toe edge trying to get it back down, might just swan dive the attempts until i know I have enough air/time to get the board back underneath me.
or just pop the straps on my systems before i get to the buoy. I got pretty good at the swan dive when learning my switch kicker raleys, which is basically this trick since I'm regular footed.
