3 nights of trick or treating here this year. tonight is downtown at businesses and tomorrow and friday are regular TOTing in the neighborhoods. seems excessive, right?

i was thinking about costumes a few weeks ago, and i went through some of the old threads on here. there are some classics. we're going to a 90s themed party saturday night, so we're going as captain planet and britney spears (obviously).

whatcha got this year?

Will be in Aspen again, the Little One does have some type of wraith costume that her and mom picked up. She will go out with her team and "trick or treat" around Aspen....

I'll wear a University of Utah hockey jersey and drink beer.....

If any of you with kids see houses with teal pumpkins, those are houses that are giving away little toys / trinkets instead of candy. It's a nation wide push to have something other than candy due to how many kids have serious food allergies now days.

We are having a neighborhood party at our house. We rented a laser tag course and a bounce house it should be a lot of fun.

Not looking good for us here...

Friday: Rain likely, then rain and possibly a thunderstorm after 11am. High near 65. South southeast wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Friday Night: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 49. South southwest wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Our friends around the corner are throwing a halloween party so we might just be there the whole night.

We will be handing out toys / trinkets to kids. My kiddo will not be trick or treating yet. too young to really understand why his parents are taking away almost all of his candy. damn peanut allergy.
He likes seeing all the other kids dressed up and still has fun though.

Took my 9 year old son and him and his buddy and his buddy's dad went with us. Me and the two boys dressed up as Royals players. We were not ridiculed for wearing Royals stuff. I had no idea how to handle that.

Rampage - BWAAAHAHAHAHAHA that's hysterical

I know, only 27. It was a lot easier to get drunk at 21 with minimal responsibilities. Now, at 27, life isn't as easy. And have no fear fellas... I haven't thrown that Halloween costume away yet Twisted Evil

Im pretty sure a bunch of 30-40 something dudes with kids and wives just got told that being 27, single, and no kids is so much harder than being 21, single and no kids...

The only thing holding you back when you are 21, is that you dont have the funds to party as you should. At 27, single, with no kids, all you have done is resolve the funding problem.

jason - I know, I know. Not trying to come across that way at all, apologize if I did. But can't just go out and get hammered, make bad decisions, and stumble home at 3am on a Tuesday night. I think we all have moment where we wish we could do that again, but significant others, kids, jobs, etc. all trump that idea.
