^ I looked up the score and lol'd. It was 56-14, back off the cliff.
Yea, but Idaho State is a TERRIBLE team and the yards given up, no takeways ect. is a bit concerning. Something close to a shutout was almost expected, save for some type of big play. Those touchdowns were drives, they also had a FG blocked.
Offense looked great, as it should against lower end FCS talent. Special teams were off the charts good. 2 punts inside the 5, blocked FG, returned punt for TD, returned KO for TD.
I get it. Been there myself which was part of my LOL.
IDK anything about ISU or the game other than your reaction and the score. Take solace in first game bugs to work out and perhaps ISU was doing stuff(blocking schemes, formations, etc.) a little different than Utah had prepared for.(very common first game) _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian?
i really wanted to watch the game last night, but gf doesn't get SEC network. and watchespn app wasn't working for that feed. garbage.

Never been so focused on "just 6 wins" in my life....
welcome to the club. i read one B1G preview that said we may flip the 3-5 conf record from last season though. that would be fun, but i don't see it when i look at our schedule.
Last night I ate hot wings, drank beer, and watched college football live on TV...even if it was the cougs coug'ing it I have to say it was a damn fine evening. _________________

it was only an fcs team, and not a good one at that, but my bobcats looked fantastic on offense last night. 6 straight drives w/ a td, 8 straight scoring, 10 of 11 drives scored, 9 of 11 were for td.
yes, it was a weak opponent, but the hurry up offense was executed incredibly well from the sidelines, and on the field. couple of hiccups - 1 false start, 2 to, 1 or 2 sacks taken because it was obvious we weren't all on the same page, but overall it was pretty incredible to watch, especially considering fran's offensive history.
david ash out for byu w/ concussion symptoms. i'd bet that means out for the year, career over. going to be tough for the horns to get to 8 wins w/o him.

If Texas loses to BYU again, I'm going to long range kick you in the Jimmy out of spite...
the defense is pretty good, w/ a chance to be dominant, but i don't know that swoopes is anywhere near ready for this level of a game. how good is the byu run defense? i have a feeling the horns will run, run, run - they were 40/34 run/pass vs unt. wouldn't shock me to see 50/25.
You'd think that sounds good, other than the Kitty offense ran roughshod on the Longhorns last year. How that happened, I'm still at a loss....but so was Manny.
by the way - this year when you are watching rsf jt barrett be awesome for the buckeyes and rsf swoopes struggle with the longhorns, understand why texas fans were so angry w/ mack brown.
Also WTF to PAC12 network and DirecTV for not being able to agree for 3 fricken years. stuff that I can get all my SEC and BigTen channels but not the gotdamn PAC 12. _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian?

Switched a year ago and actually like Dish better.... Well, admittedly I still don't know where to find some channels.
My Bro and Mom have Dish and I think I don't like it based on those small sample sizes.
What do you like better?
I love the special channels that DirecTV has for Major Golf Championships and the Score Guide(although that hasn't been working well for me lately ) _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian?
Seem like the channels are grouped well. Love the APPs, hopper kicks tail, MUCH BIGGER DVR. I can't think of one thing DirecTV had that I miss. I was always very happy with DTV, only reason I switched was PAC12 Network.
Who knows, I may switch back to get updated gear & discounts, if DTV had PAC12 Network when my contract ended. Some of what I really like w/ the change may just be newer equipment? But I'd recommend Dish to anyone.

I'd love to know the gritty details here, it's pretty clear Scott has been able to drive cash to the conference and increase brand identity. So one has to wonder what is really driving the delay and what other factors are out there that are driving this decision.
What is it about the DTV deal that just doesn't make economic sense to reach so many more viewers. Will taking a lower margin with DTV erode the next series of contracts? Are there additional incentives that Dish/Comcast etc. are placing in their attempt to win market-share from DTV? _________________

The Ducks haven't had a competative game on Pac12 network yet. I am sure that will happen. To the Sportsbar!!!!!
From what I can gather it is pure $$$ that is the problem. Pac12 network wants more than DirecTV will pay for the channels. To be perfectly honest I don't blame them, West Coast fans are a fickle bunch and won't die hard consume shitty games. _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian?
you guys will enjoy this... i've been hanging out w/ the boz lately. no, seriously!
he lives in austin and his wife runs around in the same crowd as several of my girlfriends from college. first saw him at a ncaa final four party, then a wedding, and now pretty regularly. super nice guy - takes all the pics people want and never has anything but a smile on his face. i'll see if i can find pics when i get home.
Yeah the word was he wasnt close to thecock he played himself to be even back then. Come to think of it maybe we was too nice of a guy deep down, to be a all everythin NFL linbacker. _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian?
For my birthday in 6th grade ('88 ) I got his book just after it came out. I was stoked, I had just started playing football the year prior and he had just finished is rookie season.

I was thinking about this on Saturday as I flipped through games on P12, B10, Longhorn, ESPNU, ESPN, ESPN2, NBC, and FS1.
