Super frustrated with the effort/play of the Avs in game 3-4, look better in 5. Awesome finish in the 3rd...hope they can finish in OT! |

That Dallas collapse was Leaf-like, they sat back and basically waited for the clock to expire. I was pulling for the Stars there too, they have a good young team who are fun to watch.
A lot of two-goal leads blown in the last few minutes in this playoffs which makes for good TV. |

Me too. Thought they were cooked after the way they looked in Game 4. Losing Barrie looked like the nail in the coffin.
Still can't believe the way the Stars went down last night. Unbelievable finish. _________________

Man, San Jose blowing a 3-0 series lead would be about the most Sharks thing ever. |

Trying to temper my disappointment with the fact that this season was supposed to be a trainwreck and playoffs were a pipedream. But with success comes expectations... Losing 4 of 5 hurts... Congrats Wild fans |

That ended up being a great series. Always tough to lose a game 7 in OT, especially after that late tying goal by the Wild. It was nice to see MacKinnon break out, hopefully the team keeps moving upward.
Also feel bad for Sharks fans, a 3-0 series lead is pretty much a lock every time. And now that's nearly 10 years of playoff underachievement for them. I have a feeling that McLellan gets the axe, even though he's a good coach. |

I'm really not a fan of like McLellan's pass-happy powerplay, but Thornton and Marleau together aren't a "core" that's going to win many playoff games. One/both need to be traded for a big name that can fire up Pavs/Couture/etc when it's time to dance.
There was a Kings fan in the bar tonight that was well behaved and transparent until the Kings went up 3-1 in the 3rd, then wouldn't shut up about how great the Kings are. I hate LA and it's people so much. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

Man those first two games were just funking awesome. I didn't get to watch game 3 as I had other obligations, but all I've heard is how the stRangers just rolled the hell over and took it.
And that's too bad. I would love more of games 1 and 2. And tonight's game is going to be on NBC Sports Network? I get that channel, but WTF? A potential Stanley Cup closeout game is not on the main network feed? Are you serious NBC? _________________
