New thread idea. Pandora is great for finding good music, but only at the artist level. If there's one or two songs you really like by an artist that are significantly different from their regular work, it doesn't help too much.
So let's try this. Post a song or a few songs you like and are looking to find more of. If you see another post you can help, reply to that or post your own requests.
Shiny Toy Guns: Don't Cry Out, Rainy Monday
Papadosio: Find your cloud
Incubus: Aqueous Transmission |

I listen to music for hours every day but it's mostly electronic lately. Papadosio was in town Friday and I skipped out feeling tired. I regret it.
If you like the the asian guitar(shamisen) yoshida brothers has some good stuff, slower or faster paced but their all acoustic only. Yoshida Brothers - Kodo (Inside the Sun Remix) is a good fast paced and electronic.
Shiny toy guns, dont cry out made me think of Awolnation - Sail.
Lotus is pretty close to papadosio's sound. Try Flower sermon maybe.
I listen to Pandora a LOT and there's not much new stuff on my stations lately. Might have to try soundcloud out to find some new stuff. Mostly looking for D&B/dubstep. _________________

Thanks pyrocasto, I'll check those out. If looking for new electronic, I might be able to help out. That's a broad genre but some good ones you may not know
Flume (try Sleepless or Hyper Paradise)
Odesza (They have a free EP on Thissongissick.com and it's really good/chill)
Datsik for heavy dubstep (They also just release a free EP. "All or Nothing" will melt your face)
Griz and Big Gigantic are good for live electronic/more jam band feel |
