After 3 sessions of trying it numerous times, hucking himself off the kicker like it's christmas. my buddy Lemmy succeeded in pulling his first invert: frontroll! don't have one on film yet but here's his learning curve:

He's got it, get that second hand back on the handle and get your hips pointed back on track after the roll and you'll ride away from it. The second hand is really screwing him right now. He could have muscled out of a few of those and rode away with it but he didnt have enough strength in the one arm.

Either way he's right on it. Nice work!

I got it now! I was struggling with riding away clean, something always got me off. Tried two hands, went back to one, done this, tried that...

Then it hit me: I turn a bit on the kicker. So when I land, I'm dead sideways, making the board skid on landing. So I aimed to the right a little more and rode away first try!

And to emphasise, next lap I got it again straight away Very Happy Pretty stoked on that!

...then I went back to making mistakes, so we still don't have it on film. But now I have witnesses, it's a start! Next weekend we'll fix that. Would be a very very nice way to end the season.
(well, I would have liked to get more tricks under the belt, but as this was haunting me a bit. this'll do)
