I used to own a 2007 LQ Team 143 http://www.wakeworld.com/products/index.php?l=product_detail&p=56251 and loved it riding behind boats.

Now I'm planning on riding cable mostly and occasionally behind a boat.

What sort of board should I be looking at ?
I'm 6 feet 6 inches tall ( 198 cm ) and weigh about 198 ( 90 kg ) pounds and 12,5 shoe size ( 46 )

I got two suggestions, the LQ Deluxe : http://www.wakeboardonline.nl/wakeboards-mens-wakeboards-2013-liquid-force-deluxe-hybrid-wakeboard-p-2953.html

And a Brunotti Propulsion wich seems to primarly a cable board :
http://www.gentkitecenter.be/all-portfolio-list/propulsion/

Does anyone have any suggestion in Ronix ? I do not know the brand, how does it compare to Liquid force for example ?

Brunotti wakeboards? New to me.

Ronix, LF and Slingshot all have a whole bunch of great cable/obstacle boards, they're good reliable brands.

Are you dutch or belgian? Couple Dutchies on here.

I now got the suggestion for a LQ Trip, since that is a lot like the Team shape, but I think this is more a boot board with no flex !?

Yes Trip is a 'traditional' boat-shape. The SuperTrip (http://www.liquidforce.com/int/wakeboards-super-trip.html) is suitable for cable/obstacles. But all boards with a Grind-base are, really.

You happen to ride at Terhills (I think it's called?) cable park?

I personally think slingshot is making the best boards out there right now. They used to have a reputation for cable only boards (which wasn't even true back then). I've been riding them for the past 4 years and they are light, have good pop, would make an amazing cable board due to the grind bases on them, have no foam core, did I say light Smile

My personal suggestion would be to get a slingshot recoil

They're great decks! But I don't know that they're for everyone. Really comes down to how much you like flex for a boat. I personally don't however I think my next board will be a Slingy because I mostly ride cable anyway.

I love my SS recoil at the cable but not so much behind the boat. It seems to pop a little weird and I prefer something a lot stiffer behind the boat. Also don't sleep on Humaniod for a wood core board, there doing some really cool things

True, I haven't ridden a Humanoid yet but I've heard nothing but raving things about their Oracle board.

The choice is not easy, the easy and cheapest solution would be to go for the LQ Trip and Index bindings, but I wonder if I will have fun with that in the cable park.

Then there is the whole question about open or closed toe, which is new to me, I used to have the bad habbit lifting my toes like crazy on my front foot, I saw from videos.

I'm starting to think this would be the right combo for me :

2013 Liquid Force Watson Hybrid Wakeboard
http://www.wakeboardonline.nl/wakeboards-mens-wakeboards-2013-liquid-force-watson-hybrid-wakeboard-p-2951.html

&

2013 CWB Faction Boot
