As a point, FK's are supposedly "lighter" than a HG. That is all relative.... But being that Crowned Heads are marketing that, something to consider. |

Been smoking the Regios Reserva like they're going out of style.... Burned at least 5 since they arrived. Which in a nutshell, means of the maybe 10 cigars I have smoked in that time.....I keep dipping into the Regios Reserva. Probably end up having to pick up another box soon.
When you get a chance, I'd recommend picking up a few. |

Definitely going to be hitting up some Cubanos while here in BDA. Any rec's? Prefer Coronas and smaller... _________________

What is BDA?
Don't smoke a lot of corona sized smokes... Mostly PC's or CG's....when I go outside the Robo/Toro size, which is my staple.
Bolivar Petit Corona and Party Shorts are favorite smaller smokes.
Corona Gorda, Ramon Allones Superiores kick soooo much tail, if you can find an LCdH. |

Thanks for the rec's. I'm hanging with my buddy here. He works for CBP - they pre-clear here. _________________

I smoked a great ramon allones celestiales finos on the rooftop of the Beach Palace in Cancun, MX this afternoon, while drinking some Havana Club on ice, this afternoon. Not a bad way to kill 1.5 hours.
Think I'll venture to the LCdH tomorrow to see if something catches my eye, though I brought what I plan on smoking. |

As I knew before coming to the LCdH, Mexico taxes on cigars are ROUGH!!! Just paid $45 for a Edmundo Dantes Conde 54.
That said, it's tasty! Oh....and HUGE(way out of my comfort zone, but when in Rome[Mexico Regional])...so my bar bill is going to kick me in the shorts as well. Tasty mojitos! |

With the weather starting to warm up a bit, I've gotten to smoke a few cigars in the last several days.
EJ, what's your Humidor situation look like?
I am going to try to build a coolidor over the next few weeks. Might even report back with pictures of the process for those interested. _________________ Impossible is not a a fact. It's an opinion. Small wine fridge(8 bottle) with a couple of custom Spanish cedar drawers, 1 shelf. I have a few desktop humidors, but only use the one I posted on 02/15/10 & a Coleman cooler. Everything is humidified with Heartfelt beads. |

We need more cigar porn. I would like to request updates on EJ's stash when possible.
Also, that cigar is cut way up on the shoulder, impressive execution. _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian? |

You're asking me to lose cigars I don't even own? I'm game, as long as I can source it I'm up for it. _________________

After waiting and waiting.....trying to show restraint, pulled the trigger on a box of Las Calaveras EL 2014 Robos....
Reading too many good reviews and seeing stock dry up(only 1K boxes of each size).....my will could not hold out.

I have already gone through a 4 pack of Robos.
I liked each stick better than the last. Had one last night and something just clicked and I was blown away. I got ever so slightly burnt Toast and Cocoa blasts.
