Hi guys,

Yet another board dilemma topic!

Last year i purchased a Ronix Mana. I really love how the board rides and the pop is great! When visiting my local dealer for some new gadget for the 2013 season i got offered a great deal on an 2012 Timebomb.

So what are the takes on the Mana vs One on pop wise? Off course technique comes to play, but i'm really looking for mana vs timebomb arguments.

Little thing: i am on a lake where we can't use ballast or boats heavier then 4000lbs. So my wake looks like this:

Should i stick with the mana or go for the timebomb?

No chance to ride the One? I know it's still cold there, but that's the best way to figure out what you want of course. Other than that: never rode either of those boards so can't say a thing about it.
Just curious, what boat is that you ride behind in the pic?
Groeten!

No, there is no chance to demo the board. We are also not allowed on the lake till March 1st. I don't think the deal on the board will last that long.

The boat is a 94 Mastercraft Maristar 200 mid engined with a custom made tower. On the picture there where only 2 people in the boat (driver+photographer) Groeten Smile

I hear ya. Well all I've heard and read about the Timebomb is just raving reviews. But then again, I don't think I heard many negative stories about the Mana either. Damn, again I'm not of much help I'm afraid. Good luck whatever you decide on!

The timebomb is a mean machine. I've been on it almost a year.

I've taken a few sets on the Mana and I found it to be really slow.

Any feedback on the pop between the two?

Both have very late kicks to their rocker lines so the feel off the wake is similar, but the Timebomb is immensely stiffer. It will push back with a lot more energy.

The time bomb construction is state of the art: PVC core, Carbon stringers, sintered base, etc. The Mana is a conventional wakeboard.

Thanks! I just mailed my dealer and he said sort of the same thing.

I'm seriously leaning towards the One. The only thing i a afraid of is strapping it on and finding out it pops less then the Mana. Also looks: One vs Mana: 1-0

Aaaargh, decisions!
