I had a 79 K5 Blazer as my first vehicle. Best off road truck I've owned.

The old Land Cruiser in that era was pretty cool.

I use to have a 63 International scout it was a cool well build vehicle. A buddy of mine had an old nissan that had and all aluminum body I thought was real cool. Now I have a 91 K-5 that is awesome.

Land Rover Series & Defender
Range Rover Classic ('74-'94) is my favorite. Had a '74, loved it. Supercomfy, spacious and really really good off road.

I had a body off rebuilt 1974 FJ40. Was a piece of art. Awesome Awesome rig. I have tons of great stories about that truck.

outside of your 60-80 range, but i'd love to have a 91 ford bronco and/or an 87 toyota fj60 land cruiser to restore/trick out. two totally different animals, but probably my two favorites.

Truf! Except you'll be lucky to get that thing to highway speeds.

Wouldn't say no to a Unimog Doka 416 like this:

I'd also back up the Land Rover Defender.

^^^ That is ugly as phuck.....

Some day I'll have a D90 or a FJ40 as my toy/weekend/Summer vehicle.

I really wanted to get the LM one of the above for his first vehicle....but it didn't happen.

E.J., she's not going to win any fashion shows but certainly more capable for offroading than anything listed, with reason, it's more of a military/ag vehicle. But I still have an affinity for them.
