Post up pics of the gear you got for Christmas.
My wife got me a pair of 2012 Ronix Cell's and my parents got me a 2013 Slingshot Recoil. I got to go out behind the boat on Christmas day and it is a huge step up from my old HL TFD with Gator Gonzalez bindings. Awesome pop, super light, soft landings, breaks free nice and easy and the bindings are the super comfy. I cant wait to get out on the cable.

there's something special about slingshot boards, i'd LOVE to try them out once my injury is sorted. i love how your board looks.
does the board feel 'thinner' than boards from other brands? |

It's definitely thinner and lighter. I'm really glad I took the jump to Slingshot, the board rides really well |

On my 3rd pair of Ronix Cells - they are mega comfy and offer great support. Evo.com had a great Black Friday special, is that where she got them? My Godson got his 2nd pair from their on Black Friday.
I've converted every single rider on my boat to Cells, 7 of us total. Best Christmas presents are wakeboard gear, congrats!

She did get them from evo but it was a pre Christmas sale. I think she paid around 225. I love a stiff boot and Ronix makes awesome bindings so the cells were a no brainer. I heat molded them and they felt a little tight dry but wet they fit like a glove. I love the baseless footbed, I feel allot more control. I was expecting some minor time to adjust to my new setup but it felt perfect even on the first pull. Everything just felt easier |
