I'm looking to put together a new crew here in the East Texas (Tyler/Kilgore/Longview) area. My current crew has proven to be unreliable, and I didn't buy a new boat for it to sit in the garage. My current work schedule gives me every other Friday-Saturday-Sunday off, and on the in-between weeks I have a couple of days off (Monday & Tuesday or Wednesday & Thursday).
My lake of choice is Brandy Branch Reservoir, aka Pirkey Power Plant.

The lake does get hot during the summer, but the inlet side of the lake stays reasonably cool and there is VERY little traffic from tubers, jet-skiers and other assorted idiots. That said, I'm more than willing to go to other lakes when it gets too hot. On the plus side, the hot water makes it easy to keep riding late into the fall or winter and to start earlier in the spring.
All skill levels are welcome. I personally just got back on the water after taking over 10 years off. I guess I'm an intermediate rider, since I have a couple of inverts under my belt. My boat has plenty of room, and the wake is....well, it IS a Nautique! _________________ 2005 Super Air Nautique TE 210

Did you find a rider? I am on Lake Palestine, over here is East Texas. I ride a lot, but my crew doesn't want to ride as much as me. Are you down to ride? |
