Figured I'd introduce myself.

Name is Mike, live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. On a whim a couple weeks ago I sold a Jeep and bout a 98 SeaRay 185. Wanted a boat and wanted to get into wake boarding. That night I ordered a tower and speaker. Got them on and the next weekend I was out and getting ready to try and board.

First time out goal was to get up! Got up on the 4th try but couldn't get up or down the wake without eating it.
Second time out I wanted to get across the wake. Got down and up, then started to try and jump. Was getting a few inches off the water maybe a foot by the end of the day.
Last week I wanted to get wake to wake jump down. Couldn't get wake to wake but definetly was progressing.

So far I am having a blast and look forward to getting out every Sunday!

When I bought it

Second trip out

New toys!

After wake boarding with 6 adults on board I noticed how good of a wake the boat would put out so I went home and ordered the bags since normally it's just 3 of us.

Nice! Keep progressing!
One thing, that tower looks awfully odd to me. Are you sure it's mounted correctly?

Tower does look very weird. Also, as much as you want to make it wake to wake, you will be just as good off in the long run if you practice surface tricks, riding goofy, ollies etc. These basics will be very popular down the road. That is just my 0.2 cents! Welcome to the forums! Feel free to ask any questions, these guys are filled with knowledge!

Thanks for the welcome. On the tower I flipped the rear tubes to bend out instead of in. Just something to make it look a little different.
