Raph killed it, I'm starting to like his style more and more every time I watch him ride.
Daniel Grant's rewind back 5 was the gnarliest thing I've seen in a while, I would much rather watch that than the double flips.

The young kid Daniel from Tailand was my personal favorite. 14 year old was just great to watch.

It was cool that it was on NBC. They need more hits along the way, 2 per pass just isn't enough. Also they need to figure out how to get more air on the quarter pipe.

We just posted a recap..... check out the footage from all three events..

Origin were you and I standing near each other at the event because a number of us were talking about that. The doubles were ok if they started to add something extra at the end but I really was more excited about seeing grant rewind.

I dont think the judges knew what to to with daniel grants rewind back 5. That was the highlight of the whole event IMO. They scored it soo low too.

I wish they would have slow mo'd the rewind back 5. It was hard for me to see. The lime green system bindings the one guy on the podium had were pretty slick.

Flix I wish I could have been there, we were just watching it on nbc at the shop. I agree though, when Raph tried the mute double mobe i jumped out of my chair.
But when 5 or more guys are throwing double flips my vote goes to the rider doing something different and creative like Daniel's rewind. In one of the videos I watched he was trying a frontside 7 rewind back 1, just mind blowing body control.

I was all around... I was not in the media area filming.. I had a guy inside that was filming and a few other guys all over the place. I was at the boat, big air and the park day. I was in on Wednesday and left Sunday.
