Never purchased a tower last season, so I'm still shopping. I really like the look of these new forward facing towers. I am concerned about the stability and amount of flex these have compared to standard towers. Anyone with experience care to chime in and give opinions? Would love to hear from someone who purchased one of these aftermarket towers. I am a large skier, 250lbs, I dont want to stress these beyond their ratings.

cullie140, I bought the Aerial freeride and installed it on my 2004 Supra Launch 22ssv. (here is the craigslist link, its for sale now) http://spokane.craigslist.org/bod/2936507911.html

Let me tell you from the depth of my hearth that this tower will disappoint you. It does not go together well at all, and I had it professionally installed. Unless your boat has a beam of 100" or more I would steer clear of it. All the hardware becomes loose instantly if in rough waters and it is way to bulky of a tower. It will crack your gel coat after a couple weeks of use because its so heavy. The cracks are not from inadequate installation either because the shop who installed fixed them once and made sure they installed it properly. But two weeks later...the cracking appeared again. I had to trade this boat in because it was so tainted by the problems of the tower. I would go with a Samson tower if you can afford it.
