That's a silly question. There are no "best" bindings.
My personal favorites are the O'brien Nomads because they're very light but supportive, they fit the shape of my foot very well, and they look badass. _________________ rally to the wake |

I would look at Ronix bindings. Any Ronix binding since 2009 has the newer baseplate which is so thin you feel like you are right on the board. The bindings are also really light and comfortable. I have the 2009 cell's and they are a stiffer binding. The one's are going to be a little more flexible and I think they have just a bit more padding.
If you can get somewhere to try them on, I would go try a few pairs. If not, just order a pair and send them back or resell them if you dont like the bindings. I would look into Ronix if I were you. I ordered my cell's online and I dont regret the decision at all. |

Ronix bindings have really cool design and they're very well made. Personally, I haven't really liked the fit of the Ronix bindings I've tried, but you might. You should give 'em a shot. _________________ rally to the wake |

| TheHebrewHammer, I looked up the nomads on overtons. They look really good, but I could never wear those. I grew up about 40 mins south of Cleveland and am a big Brown's fan. The nomads have too much black and yellow for my taste. |

HERE WE STEELERS HERE WE GO, HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO. How do you deal with all the disappointment as a Brownies' fan mgs917? Just giving you a hard time as a Steelers fan, I'm kinda of obligated to do so. But getting back to the thread, definitely agree with the Ronix suggestions, I have 2010 Kai's now, no complaints at all and very comfortable. _________________ " You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on."-Dean Martin |

It is very disappointing, but we hold on to the hope that one day we may be able to win something. I am pretty easy going so I can take the heat. I am sure I would give the steelers fans grief if I was in your position.
I would search boardstop, buywake, evo, and ebay. Those are some of my favorite board shops. Evo.com has a great outlet section and they run 20-40% off deals every now and then. |

Baltfrog, Judging by your "6" post I assume you are a Steelers fan, but if you were a Ravens fan I would give you a hard time for thefting our team 15 years ago . |

I'm a steelers fan who lives in baltimore w/ ravens seasons tickets. I have lots of fun explaining that one haha. So I do have a part in taking your team, but I see it more like social services taking a mistreated child from a parent and allowing it to grow up in a healthy environment. Sorry MSG no hard feelings just messing around. _________________ Don't rush to judge me, no matter how fast you won't be the first one. |

| getting back on track.... I'll say the Ronix folks have their house in order when it comes to boots - rode some LF and SS and I've got a pair of 1"s on my board - older one's at that! - probably could get some cheep too... |

logan, I have Ronix, and I recommended looking at them. But my reasoning isn't get them because it is what I have. I would tell anyone who has a chance to demo gear to try as many different pieces of equipment as possible. For most of us, this is simply not an option.
I had a pair of open toe LF shane's and they were extremely comfortable, but very bulky. I have seen the newer ones and they are much lighter, but still not as light as my Ronix cell's.
I have also tried cwb bindings with the hige system, I did not like those at all. I have tried gator and hyperlite bindings as well.
The only other binding I would consider buying at this point other than Ronix are the new Hyperlite system bindings. I had a chance to demo those and I loved how they felt. They were super light and they really locked you into the board. The downside is they are very expensive. |

Easy now...
OP, check out the Ronix pro model gear the slingshot rad and shredtown boots and like hebrewhammer said obrien nomads.
I can vouch for the quality of Ronix and slingshot stuff. I have never cared for hyperlite or lf gear and I've ridden a few of their pro model boots/boards.
One thing I will tell you is my Ronix cells started to separate over time and I had to glue them back together. My slingshot d3s never did that once. I will have slingshot rads in two weeks so I will give a review but from what I have been told the 2012 slingshot gear is unmatched.
Food for thought. _________________

Logan, I wasn't trying to attack your post, I was just trying to show that I have tried more bindings than what I currently own.
I have had my cell's for 2 seasons and they are holding up really well. I only have used them 10-15 times a season though. Where did yours start to come apart? |

Yes, OP, avoid CWB's clamshell bindings, like the Torque. Many people get them confused with the newer "hinge tech" bindings like the AA and the Marius. These are fine. The Torqs are awful. Most CWB bindings are actually really awesome, so make sure you're clear on which ones we're talking about here. _________________ rally to the wake |
