I want to spend in the area of 60k for a new or slightly used wakeboard boat. We will be using it for id say 60%wakeboard 35%wakesurf and 5% for water skiing. I have done reserch and went to the boat show and talked to as many people as i could. I have to say that I am very impressed with the Mastercraft X25. I have ridden this wake and it is very nice. This boat also has surf trim tabs. Anyone know how well they work?? I could get a slightly used one for 70-80k which is a little steep for me. I think if the surf tabs are that legit, I would be willing to fork out the extra$ for the mastercraft. My other top choices would be
11/12 Supra 22 Launch
08/09 SAN 210
11/12 Axis (A22)

I really want a good wakesurf wake as we are getting older and I have a feeling we will begin to do more wakesurfing as time goes on. Any comments or opinions are greatly appreciated!!

I would pick up Chatt's whip if I had the ends. He has that thing completely hooked up, it looks sick and you know it's well maintained.

Pretty much spot on here man. If you want a helluva boat with great versatility, and already tricked out. You would seriously give him a shot. He's about as detailed as I am ( Razz ) with his boats, and they are always in tip-top shape.

I will have my 2012 Supra 22V Worlds for sale in July with about 150 hours when I get my 2013. I have posted a pic.

But if you want a boat today I can get you the 2012 actual boat that pulled of the Worlds in Indy. (Red). PM me if you want more info.

Haha Lmk if you want any details on my boat. Basically, it's a solid black 11 a22 with the raptor 400, full wetsounds system, and only 84 hours.

Randy, If you test all those boats, hit the wakes and surf the wake you probably will go with the 08/09 SAN 210

I have always loved nautiques! Ive wakeboarded behind several but never surfed. I heard they are not great surf boats on regular side but pretty decent on goofy. I know I cant go wrong with any of these boats, I just want to have as much info and opinions as I can get. Does anyone else not think the x25 is the way to go? The storage, the finish, and the wake on that boat are unreal. Im just not sure if I want to spend 75k.

I think Mastercrafts are great boats... I really do, but I think they are a tad overpriced considering all the other makers out there. Heck, you could get a brand new MOJO for less than you are wanting to spend!

The 210 is an awesome boat. I thought hard about buying one. The WB wake is awesome and the surf wave is nice too. The boat is very well built, has some nice bling, and will hold its value well. However, the 210 was just too small for me. It's a pretty cramped boat overall. However, for someone who doesn't ride with that many folks, or doesn't have kids, it's fine. The A22 is much roomier on the inside. I love the wakes behind both the A22 and the 210. I will say that the A22 wake, imo, can get bigger than the 210 wake. Both boats surf equally well, provided you have the new A22 rear platform. Can't go wrong with either boat.

Yep my riding buddy just picked up a 2012 Mojo with no tower speakers but every other option for a touch over 50k. That would leave you a lot of money for upgrading the sound system (he plans on Rev10's for the tower) and the most important thing...GAS money.

That is true on 2006 and older 210s because of prop rotation surf wake is better on the starboard side. Any 2007 and up will do fine on both sides.

he is not on the moomba forum, as soon as we ride behind it i'll post up a review on here, i'm hoping he lets me add an extra 500-600 lbs of sacks in it too but it being brand new i don't know that he will since he hates riding behind my 03 sante sacked out

No Lee County Inboards in North Mississippi had it at the Jackson, MS, boat show. It is red, black, and white. Weather keeps screwing us up. It's mid 70's during the week and then drops back down to the low 60's on the weekend. He won't go in that temp. I'm dumb enough too but he won't.

are 21' san's good for wakesurfing? I thought I head otherwise, but could be wrong.

I'd search for a 23' lsv, vride or 22 axis. or just screw the budget and get the tige' z3.

We finally got to take a set behind the Mojo. River was almost at flood stage so the water wasn't that smooth. But with the factory ballast loaded up the wake was solid. Not sure I like it quite as much as my old 210 wake but it is night and day better than his 07 Outback V he had. He tried to surf behind it but with 4 people on one side and only the right rear full the surf wake was not good at all. I figure you probably need one of those L shaped sacs on top of the seats and a few more people to get a good surf wake. Basically it needs a lot of weight to surf behind it. Their version of PP worked spot on. It held a very constant speed. Fit and finish seemed WAY better than the Outback V he had. And it has a TON of room in it. You could add a lot of additional weight to the boat.

Hmmm... it is a bigger boat, I am suprised it doesn't come more ready to surf though. Especially since they changed the swim deck to accomodate surfing.

Did he demo the surf wake before he bought the boat?

he drove the boat across the lake and back with the sacks full but didn't check the surf wake or ride behind it, i told him we just needed to sack that bad boy out and all would be well, "no sacs in the new boat"....wtf??? oh and he chose that boat over an Axis A22 because the Axis didn't look as refined on the interior

Well, that sucks. Oh well. Every buyer has his or her own priorities. I gave up a lot of fit and finish to go with an Axis because the wake was the best I'd ridden and the surf wave was nice as well. Almost every boat needs sacs to get a great wake and wave. Hopefully, your friend will figure this out. I'd like to see some pictures of a sacked out surf wave and wakeboard wake behind a mojo.

Put a deposit on a New 2011 Supra Launch 22V today. This boat just fit us better than any other boat we looked at. The price was pretty sweet as well!! Atlanta Marine in Atlanta is really a top notch Boat Dealership![/img]

Taking my sacs with us tomorrow so hopefully we can get his surf wake dialed in for him and add a little extra to the regular wake. I'll try to take pics.
