what size board for 5'5 115lbs...first board...

Its my first board, and im trying to size myself up, ive used the beginner link for boardshop (not sure if thats the site) but it couldnt find any boards for my size...so im asking you ladies.

cant wait to get on the waterrrrr and learn...
any other steps you think i should take before hitting the water.

probably try a 133cm

133, i was thinking something smaller, since my other half is lookin at 138-140

yes, but he also has about 70lbs. on you.. a 133 is a more common size so you will have a better variety of choices, a 130 is on 3cm shorter its not really a noticable difference...

im 5'10 & 200lb. and i ride a 135....

Well I pretty much have the same stats as you and I ride a 136. I started out on a 130 but found it too small. Alot of it is down to personal preference. I could probably get away with a 134, but personally I like a slightly longer board.

I'm 150 lbs and have riden 138 LF Melissa and now I"m on 136 Ronix Faith Hope Love.

I'm riding a smaller board this year because I want to spin quicker, I mean my Ronix Faith Hope holds up to 175lbs so I'm good unless I gain weight LOL

So, just look for a board that supports your weight. Try to get the weight in the middle of range but alot of board is about preference like Chocoholic said.

I a 5'4 and ride a 138 Liquid Force. Love that board.
