I am doing a school project aimed towards the inconvenience of needing something to drink while participating in extreme water sports. Answering these questions would help us out a whole bunch. thankyou

This project would be more for other water sports but i'd like to see if wakeboarders would be interested in this.

During a long session, do you ever get thirsty?

Do you ever stop wakeboarding because you're tired and need a drink?

Would you be interested in a product that would make it so you wouldn't have to come in the boat for a drink?

1. It's like any other sport, so yes I get thirsty.
2. I'll stop and take a break during a long set (over an hour) if I don't hydrate well beforehand.
3. Not really, breaks between riding are nice.

1. Sets are usually 20-30 mins, too short period (for me at least) to get really thirsty.
2. Nope
3. Nope

2. when i fall, the boat has to come round to bring me the handle, i just ask whoever's in the boat to throw me my water bottle
3. no need for special device at all. plastic bottles float and they're disposable.

those did not sell well at all.

re-think your project so you do not get a bad grade.

beer helmet adds weight to your head and affect your balance. you're pretty much limited to 2 tall cans. more importantly, if you fall you risk spillage... that's alcohol abuse and we can't have that.

how about a one way straw that runs along the rope to the handle, so you can sip on it while getting a pull? if the keg of beer's sat next to the rope attachment point, the height to negate the need to suck hard through a long straw.

just make it one-way somehow so lake water doesn't backwash into the straw....
