I have a Prostar 205DD (1999 model), and have 900lb, 450lb, and 300lb (for ski locker) sacs. What would be the best use of this ballast for surfing (port side)? Thanks! |

Put the 900 in the rear locker, the 450 in the bow, and put the 300 right in front of the rear seat on the side your surfing.
I also have a 99 205DD and am using a 450 in the bow, a 450 in the rear locker as well as 700 pounds of tractor weights. 300 in the rear locker, 400 by the rear seat on the side were surfing. With a few people in the boat this works great. You'll have to experiment with moving people/bags around a bit to tweek the wave to your liking.

We'll be back out on Monday morning, I'll let you know how this goes! |
