any ideas here?

I have the wiring like this:
2 batteries one wire runs from the main battery ground to secondary ground.
another wire runs from main battery pos-> switch -> secondary positive

amp(phoenix gold 900x5) is hooked to the secondary battery's terminal

headunit is hooked to the main battery as i didnt mess with any of the boats wiring.

my amp runs all the speakers( 2 alpine componenets, 2 kicker 6.5's, 2 12 JL subs) when i disconnect the switch to isolate the main battery from the battery that runs the amp, my subs and alpine's turn off, but the kicker's stay on.

wtf /\/\?

if everything is hooked up to one amp, i would start with checking the batteries and make sure they are both good. then check the amp, then rca's, then the head unit.

yes everything is hooked to the single amp. I will check the voltage on the batteries!

both should be good, i have run the boat plenty with them both hooked to the charging system. and i had the second battery tested not long ago. it is a smaller car battery that i pulled from my car when i replaced it thinking it was bad, but the battery was not the problem with my car.
