the walls are 3/16" diamond plate aluminum (Southwest Steel Sales), the sheet was only $80 since it had an overall bend to it and some scrathes on it, it was enough to cut 6 walls from. I used a jig saw with a thick metal blade to cut the rough shape of the circle, I used a 15" template and carbide coated router bit to get the perfect shape, the cross members consist of 1/2" threaded rod cut to custom length from a 6' stick, they're secured by nylon lock nuts, the sleeves are 1" glavanized pipe ($17.89 Home Depot) cut to custom length from a 10' stick, the hubs are 1.25" aluminum Multi-Pattern Sprocket Hubs $15 each from BMI karts, here is a nice pictorial of something very similar to what I've done:

no more jig saw for me, I found a nearby, reasonable water jetter and had 2 sets cuts for sample, some diamond plate and some plain sheet, they are soooooooooo light weight

I could sell them for $85.66 plus shipping, trust me they are worth it, tell me if you want diamond plate or brushed, for brushed I will take a light grinding disc and put a polished swirl look on the faces, either way I will brush the back of the diamond plate, and let me know that you'll be using the 5 1/4" bolt pattern for the hub
