looks pretty good, only thing I'd be worried about is side to side strength as your tower arms are basically straight up and down. If you've yanked on it and it feels sturdy though, who cares.
Are you thinking a ball hitch for a towpoint?

cool man, I'm all about the cheap n easy if you can make it yourself. I made my own board racks for about 60 bucks and still had enough iron to make another 2 if I wanted.

Wow... small world... when I was growing up we had family friends in Newark... George Fields and family... they made an underground house out of train cars! Ever heard of them? I usually go to Lewisville lake... but Eagle Mountain looks a bit calmer... maybe we will try it this summer! Nice tower!
