I want some opinions on my light bar I am building Here are some pics the center LEDs are blue to match the interior LEDs and the other 4 are for vision.
I want to know what you think
if I should add more lights
I like the like the LEDs(clean and hide wires nice) and was going to take back the other lights and put up 4 (2 back to back per side) white LEDs but they aren't very bright
also the bar itself will be painted black
I had a light bar speaker combo but sent it back b/c it hung to low for head clearance |

I had a pretty nice light bar on my Nautique, the ones pointing forward were helpful for docking, and the ones pointing backward were really only helpful for surfing.
I'd give this a try and see how it looks on the water, then decide whether to add more. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

I added lights to a tower once and found them to be more trouble than they're worth unless your going for style points. In my case they helped a bit loading on the trailer but otherwise they were pretty much useless on the water and only made it harder for me to see actually. I know many states will get you a ticket for them as they hinder others night vision and there's no watersports after dusk allowed here anyway. |

Is that a door seal?? And are the leds facing forward and back?? They wont be strong enough for lighting up the water or a dock but the others should be fine. Tell me more about the leds in the middle?? I might want to add thos to my boat. Can you post a link of those leds and where you got them?? Heres a link to my DIY light bar from WW. It might help you in some way. Jet

The led do light up some what but mainly used for interior lighting to match my LEDs I installed in the boat. The other light really light everything I bought the LEDs from advance auto you can find them on eBay but take 20-30 days to get from china and you only save 6 bucks |
