It's a sad time when I'm talking about covering my boat for several months Sad . Anyway, I'm considering either buying a cover and having it modified for the tower, or I just saw this website that appears to make tower-modified covers. Anyone have experience with this?

What are some other good sites that sell boat covers?

Pop Addict, due to your boat and aftermarket tower, chances are slim that anyone is going to have a pattern pre-made. If you want a cover that fits like it should you might look into having one made locally for your boat, or buying one that fits your boat well and then have it modified locally.

Just my two cents.

the locally made can get pricey though, for our 17foot i/o we got a vinyl/snap one done and it ran 1500, if you can find one that fits your bot online, you can then bring it in and have it modified or do it yourself,it all depends too if your gonna stor it indoors or outdoors, shrinkwrapping might be an option

I can get an exact fit, 8oz Performance Polyguard cover for $300, then have it modified locally for $150-$200 I hope. I'll look into that more...

yeah i didnt realize that you were in georgia until after i posted that, but id say as a general rule of thumb just try and keep as much sun off of it as possible. the only reason to be concered about it would be for snow, but i dont think you have to worrry about that

I know guys up here (Canada) that just use a heavey canvas style tarp and they seem to do all right. Just as long as you knock the snow off before it starts melting. Which you won't have a problem with.

why dont you just have a local boat yard come to your place and shrinkwrap it....i think its 10 bucks a foot here....i do mine in the winter and they shrinkwrap the whole thing over the tower and all i think it costs me like 220 for a 19ft boat since going up and over the tower adds a few feet. and i just use a huge blue tarp in the summer between sets...just an option
