im just wondering all the stupid things youve done just so you could go wakeboarding, or how cold of water you went in just because you wanted to wakeboard _________________ wakeboard all day, this is how life is |

| I hit the Iowa water (Red Rocks) in mid April (which is DANG cold in Iowa)...It was the only time I was worried about my health in the water...but once I got up, and got the adrenaline flowin, it was a good time |

Thats cool. Yeah, there was no chance of going on a lake. (maybe if we used lots of heater fans, hahaha). We did run into a huge sheet of ice once (I was unluckily the one riding), that was funny. But the ice was thin, and not easily seen. But funny none the less. _________________ ODPC |

Yo, you all gotta listen to this one.... OK I had the boat and I was just in a complete over it mood and my friend wanted to go wakeboarding real bad. So we decided he had to pay the price for it. I was playing drums at the time and told him I would take him if he let me hit in the nuts twice. I started and it took him fofteen minutes just to take the courage to take the first hit. It wasn't hard.. I mean he's my friend and all. I somehow managed to get 6 hits on him and it took a total of over 2 hours including recovery time between each strike.... sounds kinda of messed up but I guess you kinda had to be there.... It was the funniest thing I've ever witnessed..... later on _________________ Brent

Back when I was a slalom skiier, before I started wakeboarding, I went one time when it was about 50 degrees outside and the water wasn't much warmer. Even with a wetsuit on, I was still chilled to the bone, and it took me 3 hours of 90 degree heat to warm up.

Guess most of you people wont say this is stupid, but:
I've been crawling up the walls the last three days. The wife says if I give up smoking, she wont mind if I go to the Wakeboard Camp. Yesterday was horrible, today is a bit better. A couple of weeks and I should have the damn things out of my system. |

Went ditchboarding in Holland on December 27th. Something like -8 degrees C (dunno F). Left my wetsuit in London so had to wear just shorts. Bits of ice were in the ditch so you can imagine it wasnt Florida style at all. Still fun though. The old bill was laughing too watching us film it.
We also slept in our boat one night to make sure we got up at like 4:30 to catch the sweetest butter ever. _________________ WakeLeague Creator and Administrator |
