|
|
So I picked up my new Sanger V210 and the tower is only 80" from the floor. I'm concerned that there won't be enough room for speakers and a bimini top. And I don't want to be wacking heads with them either.
Has anyone mounted cans over the tower? _________________ Hold my beer and watch this! |

I agree with flixmaster, it just looks weird.
Most of my customers just learn to deal with the speakers being there. If you install just 2 and keep them as wide apart as possible it makes it less of an issue but I'll be the first to admit I smacked my head on more than my fair share of speaker cans _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

YA I guess if I only put 2 cans and spread them apart, that might limit the head smaking. But it might not help with the bimini top.
I might have to have the tower extended a bit, which will blow my budget on the cans. _________________ Hold my beer and watch this! |

On top of the tower definately looks a bit odd to me too. Depending on how the bimini mounts, and how close it is to the top of the tower, another option might be to mount them on the side uprights as close to the bimini as possible. |

bobwire, Don't even consider having the tower modified... it just won't be worth it in my experience.
Better to look at adding transom audio like you'd find on Epic Wakeboats.... it'd probably be cheaper too!!! _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

Ding, ding ding!! Winner. A guy on my lake put his black speakers above the tower and they are 100% like Mickey Mouse. I laugh every time I see it. Don't do it. |
