My girl and I milled the wood (that's what she said), staind, varnished, and installed... We love it!!! What do yall think?

Looks good! I assume you used Spar Varnish. That thing is going to get a ton of sun.

Yes.... and I sealed the tops and sides with marine silicone to help keep water from getting behind. Next will be the dash and steering wheel. Prolly start the dash this week...it is gonna suck!

I wanted to use teak... but didn't want to have to dig into the kids college fund to buy it!!! Started the dash last night... good bye old weathered plastic!!! Will post pics soon.
