First off you need to make sure you get your speed up. At normal wakeboarding speeds you'll just sink in the water. See how he edges out hard on his heelside? That's just for enough speed to make it so he stay on top of the water.
Second, edging out heelside offers a second advantage. You're already in the seated position. You wanna edge out hard then drop your ass into the water and let the board out, this should roll you onto your back.
Now You're gonna need to give the rope a good tug to try and pull yourself back around and dig the board into the water.
The main thing is you need the speed. |

I'm going to attempt one of these tonight if the feeling is right haha
I have somewhat revived this thread, so if anyone has any additional pointers from experience that would be great _________________ --JohnnyV |

Well, seem the water was against me last night as i had the wind knocked out of my on my first w2w last night so i didn't get to try any exotic tumble turns.
My attempts will come this following week after i have made a full recovery _________________ --JohnnyV |

me and my brother do these, just cut out as hard as you can on your heels then you just touch your back to the water and pick your feet up and spin around. the trick is not to go onto your back too late because you will get slack in the rope and sink before you can spin all the way around and stand back up. |

Ya, I've wanted to do this trick for years. It might be time to give it a try. _________________ 2010 Watson Hybrid
