I like to break down wake jumps into a few parts
Th Edge Out- You want to edge out a good distance from the wake and when you get out there go flat and let off your edge for a few seconds
The Edge In- Try to stay in a seated position as you start your heelside edge in, start slow and edge harder as you get closer
The Pop- Extend both legs evenly at the wake to launch yourself up, once you get that down do an "ollie" motion instead of using both legs evenly which will help you develop style and lets your legs and body move independently.
In the air- keep your eyes on the horizon
Landing- keep your heelside edge as you land, cutting out away from the wake |

First, and most importantly, you need to keep the rope handle as close to your lead hip as possible. No "arms straight out" anymore. This helps keep the tail of the board from sliding out sideways and helps keep your upper body from breaking over your waist (bowing at waist like you are doing karate).
Second, keep your weight more evenly distributed on both feet. It is the opposite of slalom skiing, where you try to keep your weight back as much as possible.
Third, you've got to really lay your weight out over the water and over the board when you're edging. You're barely edging at all in the jump attempts, so keep that in mind as your riding gets better. Eventually, you want to be edging so hard that you are showing the bottom of the board to the people in the boat.
Keep riding!!! _________________
