I have a 2001 Starcraft 1810 GT and I'm looking into buying a wakeboard tower for it. I have looked at Monster and most recently Elevation towers. I knew about Monster, but came upon Elevation tonight. I really like the looks of this tower, but I want it to be durable and functional:

I am wondering if anyone has heard of Elevation wakeboard towers? If so, are they reliable and durable?

If I did go with Monster, the MT1 or MT2 is what I would probably buy.

Thanks!

that elevatiom tower is cool. but if your boat is smaller than 20 foot i think it will look too big for your boat. look at how far apart the feet are front to back. my boat is 18 feet and i saw lots of good looking towers but had a hard time finding one that didnt eather look like a rainbow or that went so straight up. most of the ones like the aireil airborn would have had the mount poinst too far past my winshield. and that you can not adjust. look at there site and you will see that on the smaller boats from the side. check out the avenger vortex or the arieal accent. they swoop nice and you can spreed the feet were you need them. let me know if you have any ? about the avenger vortex i intalled mine last year.

I took a look at diywake.com and I like this one:

Searching for a tower is harder than I thought...so many choices lol.

kartman, is it holding up pretty well, such as the wakeboard racks and overall durability?

I picked up the Elevation tower when it first came out in February.
I have a 19.5' 2005 Baja Islander and I was concerned the stance would be too far apart for my boat.
At first I didn't realize you could get it in a 72" stance as well, rather than the larger version. On my boat, 72 inch front to rear leg stance is perfect.
I got hooked up with a sweet deal on the tower and a set of can speakers.
The built in swivel racks on both sides are what make the entire thing for me on top of the nice looks.
The additional money I would have spent on two nice racks got me some nice speaker cans.
The only thing I wasn't happy about was having the tower and accessories sitting in my living room in the dead of winter, having to look at it everyday for months before I got to put it on.. Cool
I'll pop some pics up for you guys...... There are a lot of nice choices for towers. Most of them you can't go wrong with. This was the tower for me--no doubt..

WhackedRampage, it is holding up great! we use the boat 3-4 times a week, and every sunday i make sure the bolts are tight (you should do this on any tower) it doesnt rattle, or shake on the boat. Raul has a top notch tower.
