Been Neglecting this little trick for awhile, so...
I saw "The Book"s tutorial on these and was wondering what to do first. I'd perfer olling with a handle pass, bc it was easer for me to learn fs 180s than reverting? And I don't kno where behind the boat to try the trick, or if I should handle pass first attempt.
Help?

start out right outside of the wake, edge on your heels into the flats, and let off. Just olly and pull the handle to your back. Don't think about passing it, Just think about getting it to your back and your other hand will pretty much automatically grab the handle. Just commit to spinning the whole way and its very simple. |

isuckatwakin, Keep your head up too (try and look at the shoreline). A lot of people tend to look down and where your head goes, your body follows. |

Try the handle pass. When I learned them I did the ollie bs first, then tried the inside out, that didn't work that well because the line tension was too high. I'd go straight from the ollie to W2W. On the W2W, wait until you're at the top to pull the handle. If you try to spin it off the wake you'll get pulled off balance. I also really have to focus on keeping over my toes. I always naturally wanted to slide out on my heals. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

I learned my BS 180 with no handle pass. Looks cooler that way! |

GnarShredd, Ill try to look up, but I'll probably end up looking down the whole time If I can remember to lol. Without the handle pass looks sick but it's probably harder |

I actually found it easier to not pass the handle and just land blind. Focus on getting the handle in the small of your back first |

God I wish I didn't have to worry about tubers and jetskiiers every time I take a 30 minute boatride down to where I can wakeboard... Anyways I landed a bs 180.... It was pretty easy besides hanging onto the handle when not handle passing. |
