i like boardstop better but living in the same state as them kinda sucks because i have to pay tax.. not trying to knock boardstop because i have bought 600 dollars or more worth of stuff from them and they have great service but just thought id let everyone know about evogear..

Fiction520, I ordered something completely different and Evo sent me the 2010 Faction board and bindings by mistake. I'm waiting for the right stuff to come in tomorrow. The bindings looked good (didn't fit me though), but I wasn't a fan of the board. Had they sent me a Marius, I'd probably still have it. lol _________________

I can't buy from evogear:( They have a little disclaimer saying that certain brands can't be shipped to Canada. When really it should say the ONLY thing we ship to Canada is Hyperlite.
And I REFUSE to buy from boardstop because they have a $250 shipping fee to get it here and that doesn't include applicable taxes or duties. So I'm stuck just buying gear in town. |

Do you live close to the boarder? You can get stuff shipped to the UPS store for a minimal fee and then go pick it up.
They will also turn around and ship it to you, its a little more complicated but not much more expensive. I will look for a write up on the procedure if interested |

We cannot ship outside the USA. Most companies except for Ronix do not allow for international shipping. Ronix does require USA dealers to charge an international price for all Ronix gear that is shipped outside the USA. _________________ Wakeskating

I have seen a bunch of companies like myus.com and bongousa that do provide a USA shipping service. Also people that do live near the USA/Canada boarder do use some type of UPS stores to receive packages. Then they just drive across the border and pick up the items. Not sure exactly how it works but I have had a number of customers from Canada that seem to have this problem worked out. _________________ Wakeskating

| Yeah I live about 1.5 hours away from the border in lethbridge alberta. I've heard of people just driving across the couttes borders and picking stuff up, actually I believe couttes has a border shop setup specifically for stuff like this. But for the added cost of gas and whatever I may as well just buy a board from a dealer in town. And no offence to you flixmaster but that's just stupid that you cant fedex a board across the border once it's under someone elses ownership. Why should ronix care if you mail me a board after I pay for it. I can buy ronix, liquid force, hyperlite and any other brands in town but I don't get the great prices from the interweb. Lol, I understand its cold hear and we only use the stuff 2 months a year but I still use it:P sorry for lack of paragraphs but I did this on my phone and it just makes a wall out of everything... |

I wish we did not have any cross border restrictions. I have no problems with sending gear anywhere in the world but that is just restrictions that the board companies have. I wish it were not the case. _________________ Wakeskating

I don't have a passport yet so I can't go and pick anything up and nobody ships here so my only option is to buy locally. |

print out prices from board stop and evo gear on exactly what you want take it the shop and see if they will match it if they say no just dont say anything and turn around and walk out.. im sure some board company in the us ships there. look on ebay alot of people ship worldwide..
check out this store on ebay they ship to Canada and are pretty cheap on prices you can send them a message on what you want and they might do a deal i did a while back and they said they would take 30 less on what they were asking on a board package.. its called djsboardshop almost 28000 buys and still 100 percent feedback, very very nice people! here is the link http://stores.ebay.com/Djs-Boardshop |
