Okay I have NO IDEA how my feet are supposed to be. Are they supposed to point straight out? Or do they point outwards from each other a little? Or maybe just the front bindings points a little to the front?

Some help please? Thanks guys.

They should be ducked out a little bit. Jump high in the air and land on both feet. The position you land in should be pretty close to your setup.

Generally they should be a little ducked. I think I ride at a 22 degree angle on both boots.

The main thing to consider is that your knees should be roughly over your toes when you bend your knees. If you ride a real wide stance but keep your boots straight, your knees are going to be inside your toes. If you ride with a narrow stance and really ducked boots, your knees are going to be inside your toes.

Your knees have the most strength functioning in a straight line.

I'd start by setting the width around/little more than shoulder width, twist your feet so that your knees are over your toes and start from there. As you get better, people usually ride a little wider+more ducked.

Newer riders will sometimes ride with their back foot straight and front foot angled. This is ok for learning how to get out of the water and ride around. But once you can carve it's a good idea to keep your stance symmetric so you can start going switch.

Poison's jump strategy is good one too for a starting point.

I saw Kyle Schmidt say one time to jump up as high as you can, and the way you land should be the way you set your stance. I took that advice and it seemed to work out pretty well for me...
