Hey guys, new to the site and loving it, but have been wakeboarding for a while. Need some help on the height of my jumps. Have been waiting for winter to get over with so i can get out on the water. Any comments helpful.

Doesn't look all that bad. What'll help you most is stop bending your knees. You're absorbing all the force of the wake by bending your knees and pulling up the board. Right at the moment where you're leaving the wake, try jumping off of it like you'd jump on a trampoline: stretch your legs. So in the air, you're all stretched out as well. Then in the air, keep the handle close. Try touching your waist with the handle a few times to get the feeling what it does. Land with soft knees again, ofcourse.
Your edge is already nicely progressive. Try some jumps with a really short approach, start at maybe 6ft from the wake. Really concentrate on edging the last 2ft, keep on edging through the top of the wake (so, do not do what that bloke on youtube wrote!).
Eveything also counts for TS jumps. Different body position, same techniques.
Good luck! _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |

I try to bend them both on the way in, then lock them both out as I go up the wake. _________________

Your right you are cutting really hard but thats not all it takes to get big air. You need to bend your knees well cutting then extend as you reach the top of the wake right now your just kind of riding over them. Other than that I don't see any problems with it. Good luck and have fun riding. _________________ I'd rather fail in originality than succeed in imitation.

| here is what you need to do. it all starts with the edge out. all you need to do is lean back and inline with the rope let the boat do the work. you should get into your bent position before starting to edge back to the wake not while going into the wake with your chest up and shoulders back. as you hit the wake you want to push down with you heels and stand up tall through the wake. hope this helps |
