So at the chance of giving up a possible good idea . I have been looking for somewhere to purchase speaker rings that could be made into led glow rings and have not found anywhere to buy them . I have been looking into buying the material and making them my own , but most places require a minimun material and i would be able to make 40 or so 6 1/2" rings . My main question is , for those of you making em and installing em , what is the charge for the rings . Also , has anyone else found a place to buy them premade ? Or how many of you would be willing to purchase some at around $20 a piece . |

I'd be willing to purchase at $20 a piece but I have a fibre-optic ring around my truck's fog lights that's lit up by LED's. If you could find one of those you'd be in business and only using about 2 lights per speaker, rather than a ring full of those lights. If you want it to be really sweet you could run them parallel to your amp so they flash with the music. _________________

have you looked at mcmaster.com they have most meterials with no minimum material requirements
are these supposed to go on the outside of the speaker. or between the speaker and the enclosure? |

Actually you could probably do this. Got bored one day and made a set for my buddy's GTI and they didn't look that bad. Cost less than 10 bucks too. _________________

Check out empirehydrosports.com they have led speaker rings for the JL 7.7 speakers. They are the speakers that MasterCraft has been using since 2005. |

Earmark Marine sells the speaker rings, cupholder rings, and a few other things.
I'm experimenting with the LED cupholder rings as we speak. |
