Its a useful speed boat. Not my cup of tea, but a lot of people on my lake love them speed boats, and for a guy who loves them but needs a family hauler so his wife will let him have a boat. This seems to be the ticket.

Ditch that paint job, and make it more clean and classy, yes. If I had enough money to buy my Viking, Sailboat, Malibu, and houseboat first.

I would love to have that boat...I wouldnt pay 80k for it but if it was 20k I would do it. To me it fills a perfect hole in the boat market..90% of the time I am on the water I find myself in a cove soaking up the sun or floating around the boat on a raft. I used to wakeboard most of the time but my little girl is too small for my wife to drive the boat, watch the little girl and try to keep an eye on me while I wakeboard. In as much as I am not fond of the graphics that boat would be perfect for what I use a boat for these days. It has enough power to be fun, enough space to pack people on it and stability for when the lake gets busy.

Didn't the Ad say it runs 80? Thats pretty fast for anything operating on inland waterways. It has a 525... Im sure it hauls.

I doubt this would be popular with anyone on here as it about the exact opposite to anything we like to do on the water and can get pretty annoing and dangerous for us.

However, a lot of people feel the same about our tower speakers as they do about the exhaust on these speed boats. I work with 2 people that each have a Baja and know a few otheres and see a lot more of them on the water. As I said above, this is for one of thise guys who has to have something that holds a family and their stuff.

First thing that comes to mind is that some family in the sticks won the lottery and picked this up in place of their pontoon with a 9 hp Johnson on it.

hahaha....

but seriously....what do you think of people going out and buyin brand new X-star's and SANTE 230's? Both cost near the same price and are wakeboard specific. Of course we have no problem with it....because that's our cup of tea. That boat there is a party barge that will rip up the water like a raped ape. More people would justify purchasing that as opposed to something wakeboard specific because of who most boaters are. We look at that and laugh...well....they're doing the same thing.

My buddies uncle just had a boat built that looks very much like that. Too funny. I'm not a fan either.

All I'm saying is that it's ugly as stuff. Why wouldn't you just go buy a fountain or a baja if you're looking for speed, fake tits, and loud noises. While I agree that people who don't know anything about wakeboarding lose their minds when they find out what these boats cost, at least our boats look awesome, and not like something a four year old on crack with a pack of crayons drew on a refrigerator.

Personal Opinion, some people like deck boats.

Not a very useable boat, and a lot of people don't like closed nose boats.

You can get a 30' speed boat and only have 5 open air seats.... big detractor for the family man.

However, auction ended with 0 bids... so I guess the market isnt that big LOL

I can't believe all the replies about that boat. Just because it's not "your cup of tea", doesn't mean it's just for the white trash... that's harsh, but what else would I expect from this crowd?

Those boats aren't Havasu only. There's 2 of them on KY Lake. Why would'nt you buy a Fountain? 1 of the owners of these boats here had a 42' fountain. He bought the 32' Party Cat and is much happier. Open deck boats are more and more popular these days. I've had a couple Baja boats and hated all of them now that I've got an open-bow boat. All of that cabin space is just a waste. It's too hot to be in there in the summer, and you can't sleep in it because the mosquito's will pack you off.

Bottom line is, those boats ARE other people's hobbies. There is more to boating that wakeboats and tower speakers. Sure, they get annoying, but not any more annoying than the harley's that pass my house with no exhaust, with the throttle pinned down like their fast....

BTW, the Malibu dealer in Nashville TN also sells these Advantage boats. They try to please more than 1 crowd.
