Well it's a nice day out, bit chilly, and we're putting the tower on my boat. I bought this one http://riptidetowers138.piczo.com/?cr=2 and yeah it was cheap but looks like it should do the trick. I'll take some pics as we go along. Wooot I'm excited. Very Happy

I think I got it for 450 w/shipping and a pair of alpine cans. I've seen em go on ebay for around 500 + shipping w/cans.

Anyway got 'er all done, was pretty easy. Sorry no pics, I kinda knew I wouldn't take any cause of the way I am. I start a project and just bust through till it's done lol. I should have took a pic of the finished deal looks good, feels solid, and I'm pretty drunk. So I guess all is well, I'll have plenty of pics over the summer. Maybe I'll try to get some pics when I pull it out in a week or two to do the stereo stuff.

Finally some pics of the new tower. I have to clean it up with some goof off because it was all taped together. I'm putting the cans on today, and if the sun decides to shine I'm going out riding for a few hours.

Thanks guys, went out for a couple hours yesterday. Tower worked great, no rattles, good and solid. Oh man it is SOOOOO much easier getting out of the water with a raised tow point, and bringing the rope around to the rider was much easier also.

Thats cool! I got the same one this summer. My sister is running it on her boat as well.

You cant beat it for the price. It does what it needs to. Was plenty solid on my Nautique. No real flex to it. The washers he sends with it were almost useless. The yjust rattle around while Im driving the boat, so I will be removing them before I start next season.

Mounted a rack on the side with no problems. Looking to get another rack for the other side over the winter too.

here are some shots of it on my boat.
