here she is. "rescued soul" a 76 glastron futura v-162 with a 80horse merc. we bought a house and it was sitting in the backyard. with a foot of leaves in her and not running. she was destined for the junk yard. having never had a boat before, i thought it would be something new and fun. boy was i right. at first we just ran it at the lake, then i went skiing, before you knew it, i bought a board and tought myself how to get up. i know she is old, (76) but she works great!!!

planning on getting something bigger and newer, and definitaly eather a i/o, or a inboard. right now im getting ready to put a tower on her. if anyone is looking for a shifter kart, ive got one for sale or trade. boarding is better fun for the family!

Sold it 3 months after getting it...needed alot of work, Bought it for 1200 and put 1500 into it... parts of the boat were from a 69, parts 73 and parts 71...VIN stamp was 73 lol.....but for about 3 months it was my "Bull Ship"

sweet , i use to have the exact same boat but with a lil 50 zuki pushin it . We just always used people for weight , usually 5 or 6 in the boat . Carefull not to weight it to much or it will not get out of the hole . You will be able to learn basic riding skills and w2w stuff , but will be hard to pull big air behind it .

the wife didnt like the boat i was going to pick up. not enough room in it. so im stuck with the old pig for another season. untill we save enough for a nice down on a newer x-2. im going to be puttin the finishing touches on the tower im buildin this month, and gonna put a ballast system in it. 300 in the back, moving the gas tank to the bow, and puttin 300 up their as well. im thinkin of redoin the seats to open it up and give it a more modern feal as well. anyone have any idea what i should do for a prop? i dont even know what is on it right now. their is not markings or stamps on it. what would u guys recomend for a rope length to start with? i was thinkin around 60'.
