|
|
I am getting tired of not having enough ballast in the boat for wakesurfing. So today I ordered my very own bag:
Inboard Wakesurf Sack
I figured this would take care of my problems along with the factory ballast and a little wedge in the 21 VLX.
Anyone else run extra weight in the middle left of the boat also? Or do you think this will be enough? I figured I can put my 200+ riders right next to the boat driver and that would give me a pretty good lean. _________________ Wakeskating

flixmaster, I'm still running my Nautique Wedge sacs from 4 years ago, that material is indestructible. _________________ wakeboards

so for tonight I put a 750 in the locker, loaded the 21 will full ballast, 3/4 wedge, and then threw the new wakesurf sac on the back seats. The wake was great with just 4 people in the boat.
The bag was a little hard to keep on the seats because we did not fill the bag all the way full. It was raining tonight so I was not able to snap pictures. We are going to go out again on Saturday so I will try and get some pictures next time out.
It is a must to have the 750 in the locker. _________________ Wakeskating

750 in the locker is key. I found that not filling the front sac is better. Put pop bags under cushions on the the side you ride, and you don't have to worry about sitting on a bag.
What kind of surfer are you riding Ed? _________________ Wake up and Ride! |

I actually just like the 750 in the back. If we have people I do not fill the L bag. If we only have a few people in the boat we do fill the L but I have a hard time keeping that bag in place.
Right now I ride a 4.6 thruster. It takes some work on that smaller board for my weight. I am about to place an order with Inland surfer so I will probably grab one of those next season. _________________ Wakeskating

I'm with you there, depends on how many people are in the boat. Had water coming over vents once...figured I better drain some water.
Very cool. Glad to hear you are bringing them onboard. _________________ Wake up and Ride! |
