| I want to start wakeskating. I found a board i want to get. its cheap and its something i can fool around on. but where can i buy shoes for it? Are they regular skateboarding shoes? |

You can buy wakeskate specific shoes or you can do what a lot of people do, just wear a pair of skateboard shoes. I just picked up a pair of Nike 6.0 skateboard shoes at the Nike outlet on sale. They work just fine on my wakeskate.

Christobull, You don't have to. Some people drill holes in the bottom to drain water. Any decent skate shoes will hold up pretty well in the water so no modifications other than drainage is needed.
I even wakeskated for a long time with shoes that had no mesh and no holes for draining water, they were really heavy but the held up for a long time. |
