I am intermediate wakeboarder, and just starting the summer back up. I currently have a Hyperlite State 135 with Remix Bindings. From what I have read on here, it may be holding be back a little bit. Would you all recommend upgrading. I have read a little about the Liquid Force PS3 or similar. Would there be noticeable difference?

the PS3 would be a great board to upgrade to, easy to ride and still something you can very easily progress on. jus make sure when you buy a new board that it is a good board such as the PS3 because u dont wanna go with another el cheapo that u will be looking to upgrade after a season of riding.
good luck man

I can do hs w2w, surface 180. No inverts, or 360. Would upgrading give me more edging, more pop, and potentially a little more height?

No you dont need to upgrade your board, the state is a great board and will be good for awhile. Im not sure about those bindings though if I were you thats what I would upgrade first.

I have found a couple boards for around $200, and I am going to be able to sell mine to a friend. Can you recommend one of these, or should I go with something else. I cannot demo anything in my area. I am looking for more pop, and added height.

1) Ronix One - 2008
2) Ronix Covin - 2008
3) Liquid Force PS3 - 2008.

I have not started to look for bindings, but will let you know.

All of those boards sound like winners to me. If you told us what your looking for in a board we might be able to narrow it down for you.

I am looking for one that will be forgiving, but one that I can be somewhat aggressive with, has some speed, and a lot of pop off the wake. I have also read about the lf axis an it looks like a good all around board.

The state really held adam errington back when he won jr mens national title in 05 on it. If he'd been a on a pro model board all along, he would have won in 04

Since i though that he wants to learn new tricks but that his board is limiting him, what ofcourse isnt true, you only limit is yourself.

Ronix One. But I would get a 2009-2011. They changed the design a little to make it a bit faster. The 2008 is a great board, but really slow. You have to work hard to edge out. On the new shape, no extra effort is needed.
